This is part 1 of a movie I made in the summer of 2006. The place is Visby, a lovely town in Sweden on the island Gotland. The viedo was shot during Medeltidsveckan (in English: Medieval Week), a Medieval festival where visitors dress up in Medieval clothes and reenact Medieval times. The CMU Barberan Tuna is a folklore music ensemble made up of old members of the Polythecnic University in Madrid. It was founded in 1965 and nowadays it is formed by 15 active members. Our songbook contains Spanish and South American traditional songs, and we wear medieval clothes. This kind of music groups are very popular in Spain and their songs are very well known among people of all ages.
